Community Engagement Lessons from the Pandemic: What Should We Keep in Our Toolbox?

Thursday, July 15th from 2 – 3 pm Eastern

Come join us for a virtual workshop and discussion led by Kent State University’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative on innovative community engagement tools and practices used during the pandemic that may deserve a permanent place in our toolboxes as communities reopen.

This workshop will focus on community engagement tools and processes developed in response to the pandemic. We will look at case studies from around the world, drawing lessons from engagement strategies created or adapted to fit public health protocols, and explore how these strategies and tools may be incorporated into community engagement efforts even after the pandemic ends. Attendees will be active participants in the workshop, and we invite you to share the tools and processes that you experienced during the pandemic and plan to use in the future.

Do you have an example of a community engagement tool used during the pandemic that you want to build into your standard approach? Share your example through this short form: https://forms.gle/dWXBJcJgki6cfUq29.
