Concept proposal applications are being accepted until February 28 for Cycle 3 of the Natural Resources Agency’s Urban Greening program. The guidelines are available here. Funded by California’s Cap and Trade program, California Climate Investments, the Urban Greening Program provides funds to disadvantaged communities to enhance parks and open space, and improve access to and within those spaces by creating more walkable and bikeable trails. Active transportation and green streets are eligible and prioritized uses of the program. Click here for more information about the program and instructions for applying online. Our partners at California ReLeaf are experts on the program and may be able to provide technical assistance if you are interested in applying.
