Last month, SB 152 was released in the California State Senate. The bill would make sweeping changes to the funding ratios between the different components of the Active Transportation Program, as well as the process for determining which projects are funded.We regret that we are compelled at this time to oppose the bill unless amended, and with our partners submitted this letter to the Transportation Committee explaining why. We hope to find a way forward with the author and sponsors that strengthens the ATP in the long run.
