In other legislative news, we are getting ready to testify in the Senate Transportation Committee in favor of SB 127, the Complete Streets for All Bill. We plan to publish amendments before the hearing further clarifying which corridors of the state highway network are affected by the bill.

Jonathan also gave comment last week in front of the Senate Budget Subcommittee on Transportation and Natural Resources during a hearing on Cap and Trade investments. Speaking on behalf of the Sustainable Communities for All coalition, Jonathan advocated for protecting the 40% Continuous Appropriations (which funds transit and the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities grant program), making a $65 million investment in the Low Income Weatherization Program, adding $5 million to the Clean Vehicle Rebate program to expand eligibility to pedal-assist electric bicycles, and increasing investments in the Urban Greening and Urban Forestry programs.
