Here’s another chance to have a say in the metropolitan Washington DC region’s transportation future!

The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) has released for public comment the list of projects to be included in the Air Quality Conformity Analysis of the Constrained Element of Visualize 2045, the region’s long range transportation plan. The Constrained Element of Visualize 2045 shows the road, bridge, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV), transit, bicycle and pedestrian projects funded through the year 2045. The Air Quality Conformity Analysis assesses the plan with respect to the air quality requirements under the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments.

Our public comments will help inform discussions among elected leaders and regional planners about the planning and funding decisions they need to make to improve our region’s transportation future. We want to make sure the TPB hears loudly and clearly that safe and healthy walking, biking and transit options are critical to people across the region!

To review the materials and to submit your comments, please visit the TPB’s public comment section. Comments will be accepted until January 13, 2018.
